Waking Up Is Hard To Do

I set my alarm this morning for 07:00, and I did get up. I found my way upstairs long enough to use the washroom, and read an article from the newspaper, but then headed back downstairs for a short rest–a short rest that would last another 3 hours.

After waking up for real around 11:20 I was in a state of panic. Today I have a math test. The topics: binomial, poisson, normal, and student’s t distribution. I missed the lectures for the first two distribution types. If it was a test alone, I would have been okay, but I also had to revise a document for a meeting my school project group has with Fuel Cell tomorrow. I need to send them this document today so that FCT has time to review it by tomorrow. I’m currently working away at the document so that I can move on to the math review afterwards. I’ve already missed one class today and it’s really looking like I’m going to miss another (coming up at 13:30).

On a totally unrelated note, I’m freezing cold in the basement trying to do this work. We just moved into a home and I guess the furnace and ducts have never been cleaned out. Someone’s coming to do that next week, but for now my mom doesn’t want to risk blowing up the furnace, so we can’t use it. If I wasn’t lazy, I’d try to find some hot chocolate.
