A few minutes ago an alarm started going off here at work. Not a fire alarm or anything like that: a watch alarm-style alarm. The beeping changes pitch and continues. I don’t believe anyone is here to stop it–apart from myself. I’m about 30 seconds away from sourcing it and turning it off myself, then sending a nasty worded e-mail to someone about how they should be more considerate to those of us who are trying to get work done when he or she is out of the office.
