I have some advice that I would like to share with you: to ensure a speedy and comfortable extraction from bed in the morning please make sure that the temperature in the room is comfortably warm.
In trying to reduce my energy usage I have tended to set the thermostat a little bit on the cool side. This minor change in comfort can give you a nice “feel good” feeling for doing your small part in reducing the world’s energy usage. But I have come to learn that the “feel good” feeling doesn’t actually warm you up when you can see your breath in the morning; burning excess energy does.
I am a fan of the lower heat level, Tiff however is not. We have come to a compromise that works.
