It is municipal election time here in the city of Waldbronn. For some time now I’ve seen the faces of Herald Erhler and Franz Masino on signs and posters scattered about town. Based purely on the photos and design of the flyers I think Masino is my preferred candidate, not that I can vote.
Election day is tomorrow and I received a friendly reminder in my mailbox yesterday in the form of a fortune cookie. The cookie was from Ehrler’s camp and I am quite tempted to open it and read my fortune, though I haven’t yet. In fact, the only reason I kept it this long is so that I would remember to write about it, as I think it’s pretty unique. No doubt that the fortune will be good only if Ehrler is elected–or so I am lead to believe.
