I got my haircut today–dare I say–for the last time in Germany. For the most part it was a standard haircut experience, except for one question the stylist posed to me: would you like me to trim your eyebrows?
I’ve never been asked before if I would like my eyebrows trimmed. I guess it is a sign of age. I did tell my mother that I would look more distinguished upon my return and I think this is holding up. That is, unless she sees me with trimmed eyebrows.

Yes, the eyebrows were trimmed. Just the extraordinarily long, wiry hairs. Somebody pointed them out to be in the past 10 months but I don’t remember who.
I’m with Alex on this one…how I wish there were before and after pictures.
If those kind of eyebrow hairs keep growing I’m going to have to start calling you Dad.
