I came across a humorous measure today: there are two (live) popes per square kilometre in Vatican City. Consequentially, and perhaps unsurprisingly, Vatican City has the highest concentration of popes per square kilometre in the entire world.

Yesterday there was an article posted to slashdot about Microsoft accidentally overpaying some laid-off employees. Microsoft has sent a letter to affected employees requesting the overpaid amount be returned.
